Kiefer Nursery was founded in the mid 1990s. Since its inception, Kiefer Nursery has strived to offer value in the products it sells. Our inventory of plants and soil amendments are the same products we professionally install in our landscapes

Kiefer Nursery is a NC Certified Nursery, registered and inspected by the department of agriculture. It was voted Best of Durham in 2008 and 2009. Our staff includes a propagation expert and several horticulturists to “cultivate our growth.”

We grow and stock what works best in our area. Throughout our 12-acre site you’ll find plant specimens worthy of any botanical garden. Scattered among the ancient dawn redwoods, you’ll find endless landscape ideas.

From handcrafted stonewalls to our naturalistic water features, Kiefer Nursery is an experience you’ll not want to miss. Its many residents, both plant and animal, will help you appreciate the benefits you can receive from your own back yard landscape.
